Wicked 10k and Monster Mile

Old Towne Safe Trick or Treat

Effective: Saturday, October 25th, 2014

Dear Hampton Roads Transit Customers,

 

Due to the Old Town Safe Trick or Treat event the routes 41,43,45,47, and 50 will be on detour from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Saturday, October 25th, 2014. The County and Court transfer area cannot be serviced during this time; patrons are advised to go to the temporary location along Wythe St outside the Ntelos Wireless Pavilion.

Transit Center Saturday Hours

Effective: Thursday, October 16th, 2014

The Hampton and Newport News Transit Centers sales window will be closed each SATURDAY during the months of October 2014 through March 2015.

Our seasonal hours of operation will resume on Saturday’s (9:00 AM -1:00 PM) beginning in April 2015 through the month of September 2015.

Fare tickets may be purchased using the Ticket Vending Machines in the lobby, and route assistance can be reached via the courtesy phone located in the lobby of each center. Bundle packs and & Para-Transit booklets will be sold at the window Monday through Friday. On Saturday & Sunday these tickets may be purchased at the follow locations:

27th Annual Town Point Wine Festival

Beginning Friday, October 17, 2014 the Annual Town Point Wine Festival will be held in downtown Norfolk. Please expect bus delays for the routes listed below on Friday at 11:00 AM until 11:00 PM on Sunday, October 19, 2014.

Northside Half Fare ID Processing

Effective: Wednesday, November 5th, 2014

Dear Hampton Roads Transit Customers,

The Hampton Transit Center will not process Half Fare ID Cards on the following dates listed below:

 Wednesday, November 12, 2014

 Customers can process their Half Fare ID cards at the Newport News Transit Center during this time frame.

 Half Fare ID’s will be processed at the Newport News Transit Center from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and is serviced by routes 101, 103 & 961 from the Hampton Transit Center.

 The Hampton Transit Center will resume Half Fare ID processing on Wednesday, November 19, 2014.

Virginia Relay Partnership

Effective: Saturday, November 1st, 2014

Dear Hampton Roads Transit Customers

Effective November 1st, 2014 HRT will partner with Virginia Relay.

Virginia Relay is a free public service that connects people who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind or speech disabled with standard telephone users, relaying the conversation between callers and HRT representatives.

Customers can simply dial 7-1-1. After reaching Virginia Relay, callers give the Virginia Relay Communications Assistant (CA) HRT’s customer service telephone number, 757-222-6100.

There is no charge to use Virginia Relay within the local calling area, and there are no set-up fees, even for calls made from public and TTY pay phones.

Long-distance calls are billed to your provider of choice (if you do not designate a preferred long-distance carrier, Virginia Relay will bill your calls through your own long-distance provider at a discounted rate.)

By law, all conversations will be kept confidential.

Two Ride Pass Exchange

Starting Monday, October 6th 2014, Customers may exchange their unused 2-Ride fare cards for a 1 Day GoPass on weekdays beginning Monday, October 6th, 2014 through Friday, October 31st, 2014.

The tickets may be replaced at the following locations only.

Route 58 Schedule Misprint
