October Service Changes
Effective: Sunday, October 28, 2012
Dear Hampton Roads Transit Customers,
Please be advised of the following service changes starting on Sunday, October 28, 2012 New schedules will be available for all times and route changes.
Route 17 NET
Route 17 will no longer provide service between Cedar Grove and Fort Norfolk/EVMC light rail station. The segment between Cedar Grove and Dominion Tower will be maintained. View Route .pdf
Route 21 Little Creek
An earlier morning trip will be added to Route 21 from the Navy Exchange Mall to Wards Corner to Evelyn Butts to the Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek. Scheduling changes will be made on Saturday to provide passenger connections at Wards Corner. View Route .pdf
New Route 22 Haygood
The New Route 22 will operate between the Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek and Newtown Road Light Rail Station with a stop at Shore Drive and Pleasure House Road. The route will operate via Independence to Haygood to Newtown Road to Broad Meadows Boulevard to Wesleyan Drive to Diamond Springs Road to Newtown Road Station. Route 22 will use Bay 2 at Newtown Road Station and operate hourly Monday through Saturday. View Route .pdf
Route 25 Newtown
The bay assignment will change at Newtown Road Light Rail Station for Route 25. Route 25 will use Bay 2.
Route 27 Northampton
The bay assignment will change at Newtown Road Light Rail Station for Route 27. Route 27 will use new Bay 3. View Route .pdf
New Route 28 Virginia Beach Blvd. – Limited
The New Route 28 will operate between Newtown Road Light Rail Station and 19th Street and Pacific Avenue with limited stops along Virginia Beach Boulevard. Route 28 will use Bay 1 at Newtown Road Station. Route 28 will operate every 30 minutes Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 9:00am and 4:00pm to 7:00pm. View Route .pdf

Route 33 North Seashore
Route 33 will continue to provide Sunday service between 19th Street/Pacific Avenue and Atlantic Avenue and 68th Street. View Route .pdf

MAX Route 960
Route 960 will no longer provide service along Boush Street between City Hall Avenue and Brambleton Avenue. The route will operate along Saint Paul’s Boulevard to Waterside Drive to Boush Street to City Hall Avenue. View Route .pdf
MAX Route 965 Patrick Henry Mall/Peninsula Town Center/Naval Station Norfolk The New MAX Route 965 will provide service between Patrick Henry Mall and Naval Station Norfolk with a stop at Peninsula Town Center. This route will operate two am trips (5:30am & 6:30am) leaving Patrick Henry Mall and two pm trips (3:30pm & 4:30pm) leaving Naval Station Norfolk. View Route .pdf
Route 106 Warwick
An additional morning trip will be added to the route from Ivy Avenue and 6th Street to Fort Eustis at 6:23am. The 3:22 pm trip leaving Ivy Avenue & 6th Street will be eliminated.
Route 108 Warwick/Lee Hall
Route 108 will be modified to provide service between Patrick Henry Mall and Lee Hall. View Route .pdf
Route 114 Weaver
Route 114 will no longer provide service along Rip Rap Road between Armistead Avenue and King Street. The revised Route 114 will operate via King Street. View Route .pdf
Route 116 Jefferson/Lee Hall
Route 116 will provide a connection with Route 108 at Patrick Henry Mall and Lee Hall. View Route .pdf
Routes 405, 415
Route 405 and 415 will exchange bay assignments at NNTC. Route 405 will share Bay 4 with Route 101. Route 415 will share Bay 2 with Routes 106 & 107 Outbound.
MAX Route 967 Virginia Beach/Newport News Express
The 4:30pm trip from Newport News Transit Center to Military Highway Light Rail Station will be maintained as a permanent trip. View Route .pdf
