EFFECTIVE DATE: June 16, 2008
Please be advised starting Monday, June 16, 2008 In conjunction with the launch of our new Commuter Express Service (MAX), the following service changes will be effective for passengers who currently use Route 24:
New travel option:
MAX, Route 960 will operate between Virginia Beach (19th and Pacific) and Cedar Grove with intermediate stops at Silverleaf and Downtown Norfolk (Waterside Dr. and Commercial Place. Monticello Ave. and City Hall Ave).
- Service operates seven days a week
- 20-30 minute frequency
- The fare for MAX routes are $3.00
- MAX day passes are available upon boarding for $5.50.
- 10-Ride fare cards & transfers will be accepted on all MAX routes with an additional cost of $1.50 until September 30, 2008.
- MAX routes will not issue transfers.
