Holiday Express!

So what do you get when you take a train and mix it with some good cheer, good deeds and great imagination? You get the Hampton Roads Transit
HOLIDAY EXPRESS!
HRT has joined forces with BOB FM, WVEC 13, and both regional Foodbanks to bring to you the region’s first ever Holiday Express train. We’ve dressed up a light rail vehicle to look like an old fashioned, steam-powered locomotive to stir up some holiday cheer. But this has a serious purpose. It’s to help those in need. Please bring a donation of non-perishable food to help. Volunteers from the Southeastern Virginia Foodbank will be standing by at the EVMC/Ft. Norfolk and Newtown Road light rail station starting November 30th to accept donations. See the full schedule below for details.
