HRT to host public meeting
Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) will host two public meetings to review and obtain feedback regarding the results of a recently conducted Comprehensive Operations Analysis (COA).
A COA is an assessment of the bus service currently provided in Hampton Roads, and its main function is to identify system issues as well as characteristics of successful services. This information can provide guidance for a future service restructure. The analysis included an in depth look at HRT’s service routes and transfer activity, with the goal of recommending a revised system of routes, complemented by appropriately placed transfer stations. The meetings will address those recommendations and an opportunity to provide feedback will be available.
