Need to get around Downtown Portsmouth? The Loop will get you there. With shuttles running every 15 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes during off-peak hours, you are sure to get to and from anywhere in Downtown Portsmouth in no time.
Environmentally conscious? Don’t worry! Hampton Roads Transit will use two of its new hybrid electric buses to operate the Loop. These are among the first fuel-efficient public transit vehicle to be used in Hampton Roads and will soon replace HRT’s existing bus fleet.
**Military, Contractors ID or visitor pass is required for all passengers before entering the Naval Medical Center. A security check will take place at the Main Gate. Failure to comply will result in being denied access to the facility.
